Aubree and Parker were high school sweethearts. Aubree was a wild child that wasn’t ready to settle down. And Parker was ready for marriage and babies way too young.
It’s been 10 years since Aubree had been home to visit. In those 10 years Parker had gone off to the Army and spent 4 tours and came back a different man. He’s now the Sherriff of their small town.
Both Aubree and Parker are very open with their feelings towards each other. And their romance rekindled as soon as Aubree entered town. All starting with Parker arresting her and slapping the handcuffs on.
Cute story. Super easy read to pass the time away. Not much of an ending to the book. She definitely could have drawn the story out just a little more.
